Welcome back to school. This year will be an exciting year. I'm looking forward to working with you and teaching your kids. Please check your child's planner daily and sign it to let me know you are checking it daily. My planning time is from 1:30 - 2:15 pm. If you need to speak with me, please feel free to setup a conference for that time. If you need to contact me by phone, my extension is 325. I would prefer you send an email because it will be quicker for me to get the message. Students will be tested in Writing, Math, and Reading on the TAKS test. You will see a lot of writings in your child's binder. I will send you a copy of the rubic that we are using. Meet the Teacher Night is scheduled for Thursday, August 26, 2010. I look forward to seeing you there. I will explain what fourth graders should know and be able to do. Thanks again and lets have a great year.
